ICS Industries provided a large Modular Equipment Building for a Rio Tinto project at the Nammuldi Mine, located near Tom Price, operating in the Region C cyclone area of the Pilbara region, Western Australia.
Features
The modular building measured 12m long x 4.4m wide and included over 5 tonnes of fire-resistant plaster to ensure it had a 2-hour fire rating.
Outcome
Despite facing a 22° incline in the final stages of delivery, an 8-wheel AWD Mercedes truck was organised to tow the shelter to site with no major hassle, ultimately leading to a successful shelter landing sustaining no damage.
