ICS Industries were contracted to manufacture a number of Railway Communication Buildings and Power Huts for various work packages across the Victorian Regional Rail Link.
Features
Portable Communication Equipment Rooms (PCER) – Standard Insulated panel shelters were placed at various locations along the new link to facilitate the in train radio communication systems.
Power Equipment Huts (PEH) – Full concrete 2 room buildings protecting transformer and switchgear controlling signalling power to the project. At approximately 60 tonne in total weight and transported from the factory to trackside positions these were some of the heaviest building packages that ICS have delivered.
Station Building – Fire rated shelter supporting train radio communication at Sunshine Station.
